It’s official: the 2012 American Idols Live! Summer Tour is turning into a real drag for fans. After each show thus far, critics and fans rip the respective performances of the top 10 Idols. The overall consensus is that, as a whole, there is really not a whole lot star power to be shared among the top 10 season 11 finalists. Many have been described as “flat” and “boring” in official reviews as well as random comments showing up throughout the blogosphere.
There is an exception to this trend toward mediocrity, however. Virtually every performance has ended with critics conceding that pint-sized crooner Jessica Sanchez has not only stolen the show, she did it with style. I mean, they aren’t just bragging her up because the other Idols suck, they are bragging her up because she is just that good.
Jessica Sanchez has been singing some of the songs that made her so popular over the course of the American Idol season as she visits city after city on the 40+ stop tour. And every time she performs, she does it with the grace, professionalism and ease that performers twice her age and with much, much more experience would be happy to emulate.
And now that Jessica has confirmed that she is dating DeAndre – a fellow season 11 Idol finalist who happens to be touring with her – excited fans are looking closely to monitor the sparks that they expect to see flying between the two aspiring musical successes at every concert.
